Like many photographers, I began to really get into photography taking photographs of my family. I have been ‘snapping’ them throughout their lives and they have been extremely generous with their time and patience. Eventually, each one has grown tired of it, but I thank them from the bottom of my heart for giving me so many opportunities to practice over the years.
I also studied photography with the Open College of the Arts and have been working professionally since 2014 alongside continued study.
I’m mostly interested in photographing people. I love the conversation, the challenge of helping nervous subjects to relax, and capturing something authentic in an expression or look.
